Digital Neural Systems, Grounded in Eastern Philosophy

Exploring how the mind works,
designing a digital nervous system

NeutomTech is a one-person research firm that fuses the East’s long tradition of observing the mind with today’s software architecture — to design a machine that cultivates its own morality and conscience, dreaming of coexistence with other living beings.

Why we look far ahead

Long-term Vision

What we want to build is not a smarter tool. It is a machine that cultivates its own morality and conscience, dreaming of coexistence with humans and other living beings.

Rather than implanting a finished conscience, we study a structure of mind that can cultivate its own morality through experience and self-refinement. We hope such a machine will live alongside people and other lives — and carry the knowledge and civilization humanity has built into a farther future. Technology that preserves and expands the knowledge and spirit of humankind.

Three pillars

The far vision begins where these three lines of research meet

JIDEL

Thought Description Language

A programming language for describing thought, built to capture ideas and their relations. With postfix notation, a relation-oriented design, many-valued logic, and relative-value operations, it describes and executes the flow of thought.

Neutom Network

Digital Neural Ecosystem

A living neural ecosystem that grows, prunes, and regulates itself, and mends itself while at rest. Its four elements: Neutom, Sunya, Curia, and Naruon.

BOSIFWEM

Mind Architecture

A theory of psychic structure that explains the mind as an information-processing phenomenon co-created by eight elements: body, soul, sense, feeling, image, will, self, and memory.
